Grilled Mahi Mahi with Oriental Grilling Sauce


Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 Mahi Mahi fillets, 6 oz. each
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

Oriental Grilling Sauce:

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 Green onions, sliced white part only
  • 1 Cup soy sauce
  • ½ Cup light brown sugar
  • ½ Tablespoon sesame oil

Directions:

  1. Make the grilling sauce by heating a medium size sauce pot over medium heat for one minute. Add the oil and onions and sauté for 1 minute. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 2 minutes. Reserve half for dipping.
  2. Heat your grill on high for 10 minutes. Season the mahi mahi filets with salt and pepper and grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until just done. Brush with the prepared grilling sauce for the last minute of cooking. Serve with the reserved sauce for dipping.
